cell%20viability%20of%20CRC%20organoids%20in%20a%20concentration-dependent%20manner.%20AC%20arrested%20the%20cell%20cycle%20of%20CRC%20organoids%20and%20induced%20apoptosis.%20AC%20inhibited%20phosphorylation%20of%20ERK.%20Expression%20of%20downstream%20signals%20of%20ERK%2C%20namely%20c-MYC%20and%20cyclin-D1%2C%20were%20inhibited.%20Expressions%20of%20CSC%20markers%2C%20CD44%2C%20LGR5%2C%20and%20CD133%2C%20were%20declined%20in%20the%20AC-treated%20CRC%20organoids.%20The%20combinational%20treatment%20of%20CRC%20organoids%20with%20AC%20and%20anti-cancer%20drugs%2C%20oxaliplatin%2C%205-FU%2C%20or%20irinotecan%20showed%20a%20synergistic%20activity.%20In%20vivo%2C%20AC%20decreased%20the%20tumor%20growth%20of%20CRC%20organoids%20in%20mice%20with%20the%20induction%20of%20necrotic%20lesions.%20In%20conclusion%2C%20AC%20diminished%20the%20cell%20viability%20of%20CRC%20organoids%20through%20the%20inhibition%20of%20proliferation-related%20signals%20and%20CSC%20marker%20expression%20in%20addition%20to%20arresting%20the%20cell%20cycle.%20Collectively%2C%20these%20data%20suggest%20the%20value%20of%20AC%20as%20a%20promising%20supplement%20that%20could%20be%20used%20in%20combination%20with%20anti-cancer%20drugs%20to%20prevent%20the%20recurrence%20and%20metastasis%20of%20CRC.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%22October%201%2C%202021%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22en%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.1016%5C%2Fj.biopha.2021.112043%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%220753-3322%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%5C%2F%5C%2Fwww.sciencedirect.com%5C%2Fscience%5C%2Farticle%5C%2Fpii%5C%2FS075333222100826X%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222021-08-23T16%3A53%3A54Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
