The authors showed that natural killer (NK)-derived exosomes from lean mice attenuated obesity-induced insulin resistance and inflammation in mice of type 2 diabetes, and that lean NK-derived exosomes enhanced insulin sensitivity and relieve inflammation in adipocytes and hepatocytes.
