%20signaling%20disruption%20and%20aggravated%20GVHD%20lethality.%20This%20phenotype%20was%20mediated%20by%20changes%20in%20the%20production%20of%20anti-microbial%20peptides%20and%20the%20microbiome%20composition%20as%20well%20as%20activation%20of%20pro-apoptotic%20signaling.%20Inhibition%20of%20inositol-requiring%20enzyme%201%20alpha%20%28IRE1%5Cu03b1%29%2C%20the%20most%20conserved%20signaling%20branch%20in%20ER%20stress%2C%20reduced%20GVHD%20development%20in%20mice.%20IRE1%5Cu03b1%20blockade%20by%20the%20small%20molecule%20inhibitor%204%5Cu00b58c%20improved%20intestinal%20cell%20viability%2C%20without%20impairing%20hematopoietic%20regeneration%20and%20T%20cell%20activity%20against%20tumor%20cells.%20Our%20findings%20in%20patient%20samples%20and%20mice%20indicate%20that%20excessive%20ER%20stress%20propagates%20tissue%20injury%20during%20GVHD.%20Reducing%20ER%20stress%20could%20improve%20the%20outcome%20of%20patients%20suffering%20from%20GVHD.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%222020%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22en%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.3324%5C%2Fhaematol.2021.278387%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%221592-8721%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%5C%2F%5C%2Fhaematologica.org%5C%2Farticle%5C%2Fview%5C%2Fhaematol.2021.278387%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222021-08-19T16%3A28%3A09Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
